Highfield RIBs
Announced in 2018 as the official importer of Highfield Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) in Vietnam, Corsair Marine International can really add value for local customers following our extensive experience within the marine industry, delivering specialist boats to the highest standards. With an international supply chain network, we are able to work with individual customers to meet their needs with the Highfield products. Boats range from 2.4m to 8.6m in length and are suitable for personal leisure, tourism, events and industrial use.
Customized Highfield 860 Patrol with custom Dive Tanks Options
Having recently received all relevant necessary paper work including the Vietnam Register certification, Corsair Marine has recently completed sea trails and handover to a new owner of Highfield’s largest model, the 860 Patrol.
The owner of this boat is operating high speed tourism with a focus on scuba diving excursions in the Nha Trang Area, one of the most picturesque coastlines in the country.
Before moving on to further details of the boat, note that it’s highly important for us to only import the boat compliances to Vietnam waters. Some of the customized additional options would be:
1. Twin Evinrude 115 HP outboard engines:
Evinrude is an internationally recognized outboard brand with a full product range compatible with Highfield’s RIBS. Together with light-weight tubes, these power houses boost the speed of this Highfield 860 to up to 35 knots quite easily and steadily, which was part of the customer’s requirement for the business plan.
2. Tacho and speed gauges:
The gauges installed on the boat include engine tachos (RPM) and speedometer. These gauges are useful for the driver and owner to monitor speed, temperature and calculate fuel consumption.
3. Raymarine 12 inch Chartplotter, Fishfinder and Raymarine VHF Radio:
The 12 inch touchscreen chartplotter is a touchscreen instrument giving you instant navigation assistance with GPS linked with local charts. This particular unit also has a “fish finder” module allowing to scan for schools of fish to increase the chances of successful catch! Together with the VHF Radio, these two make a perfect combo on the Highfield 860.
4. Best part – customized dive tank racks and storage:
Either side of this Highfield 860 is equipped with 4 dive tank storage racks. The boat also has additional tailored storage for a further 4 tanks in the forward locker. A total of 12 dive tanks can be stored and securely fastened in place.
