Update: 2017 Corsair Nationals – Registration Prize Draw and Sponsors Announced
The 2017 Corsair Nationals, hosted by Sarasota Sailing Squadron have announced new sponsors, and a great opportunity to win some fantastic equipment from Colligo Marine.
Entries received on or before November 7th, 2016 will be entered into a fantastic price draw to win a set of new Colligo Marine shrouds worth up to $1600. That applies to any model of Corsair – anyone can win. We now have 11 boats registered for the Nationals, with expressions of interest from 3 more. So this is a great time to join in and have a chance at some free equipment.
This regatta won’t lack for social time, either. Saturday night’s dinner, sponsored by Spinlock, will see a prize draw for some of their great gear. Refreshments are provided courtesy of sponsors, Windcraft (Corsair dealers for the Texas/Gulf Coast), Calvert Sails, and the Finish Line.
Speaking of our longstanding Corsair dealer in the region, the Finish Line of the Treasure Coast has also kindly offered free storage space before and after the Corsair Nationals. So if you find yourself considering a series of regattas in the region, talk to Steve Marsh today.
Photography of the event will be provided by Brian Clark of Local Flavor Films and Photography. A slideshow of the sailing action will run post-race each evening, with video to follow later. Thanks to Brian for this great service.
