We are thrilled to announce that the award-winning Corsair 880 Sport will make her Australian debut at the 53rd Sydney International Boat Show (SIBS)

From Thursday 28 July to Monday 1 August 2022, the ICC Sydney and Cockle Bay will come alive with one of the biggest and most prestigious marine lifestyle events on the boat show calendar. With over 240 exhibitors, 900 boats on display, a showstopping lineup of entertainment and activities, and 60,000 dedicated marine enthusiasts, this is an occasion not to be missed.

“This is an exciting time for trimaran sailing,” says Brent Vaughan, Director at Multihull Central. “It’s been almost 40 years of trimaran innovation since Corsair’s F27 was inducted into the sailing Hall of Fame. Even back in 1986 the boat was recognised for being big enough to cruise with some essential comforts, light enough to be fast and generate its own apparent wind, yet small enough to trailer behind a regular 4WD. In 2022 we see these same features reimagined and much more.”

The sailing community welcomes 2022 with excitement that the Japan International Boat Show 2022, one of the largest boat shows in Japan, is happening on the 31st March – 3rd April, 2022. Join us this April to get onboard the Corsair 880, 2021 Best Sport Boat Of The Year awarded by Multihull World, as well as seeing many more world-class trimarans and meet your fellow sailors!

The Japan International Boat Show is an international boat show for sailing boats, motor yachts and water sports equipment. It takes place once a year at the exhibition centre Pacifico Yokohama and also at the Yokohama Bayside Marina and is open to both trade visitors as well as to private individuals. Visitors will find everything that has to do with boats, such as entertainment systems, ideas for interior design and technical accessories. This fair provides the unique opportunity to see the boats not only from outside but also to visit inside and to have a test drive with sailing and boats. The exhibition will be accompanied by numerous lectures and presentations on topics such as safety on the water and the science behind the boats. Furthermore, there are demonstrations how to drive or operate a boat exactly.

As this country’s biggest marine event, this is a great opportunity and the perfect platform for us to come together and get onboard the Corsair 880 trimaran. Mark your calendar and join us now!

We are pleased to announce that the Corsair Regionals/Sarasota Bay Multihull Regatta will be hosted this year on the 3th – 4th of March, 2022. Corsair Marine International and Sarasota Sailing Squadron Committee will look forward to seeing your unique boats flying on the Bay and with your favorite PRO there will be lots of racing!

The Corsair Nationals 2021 – a huge success for the Corsair Trimaran Community

Corsair 28R won third place in Kieler Woche 2019

In continuation of the success of the previous Corsair Cup, we are very excited to announce that 2021 Inauguaral Corsair Cup is confirmed! This year, the event will run from 28 – 29 January, 2022 at Pittwater, NSW Australia. Passionate sailors and trimaran owners will be there and join the fun racing their boats.

This year’s Corsair Cup is jointly organized by Multihull Central and Seawind Catamarans, thus the 2-day event will will look to see half a dozen catamarans racing alongside the trimarans! This is an amazing opportunity to test and practice your sailing skills, meet other trimaran owners and enjoy the beauty of Pittwater and Broken Bay just a few hours north of Sydney Harbour.

Another regatta is happening soon to celebrate the success of previous years events. The Corsair & Seawind Brisbane Regatta (19 – 20 November 2021) will bring you just as much fun with roughly 15 catamarans and trimarans to the race. This year, the event will happen on the Friday and Saturday and we are expecting more fun activities afterwards. What an amazing opportunity to participate in social racing, making new friends and enjoy fabulous entertainment.

The event is jointly organized by Seawind Catamarans and Multihull Central, so join us on Friday night following the invitation race for nibbles, drinks and to swap stories at RQYS Pavilion, Boardwalk 1. Saturday night is promising to be a big one, again at RQYS Flags Function Room, with great food, music and plenty of dancing to party the night away.

The Corsair Pulse 600 trimaran will present, together with 200 boats on exhibition on land and in-water!

Celebrating 30 years in 2020, the BC Boat Show has grown to become the largest in-the-water boat show on the west coast. Proudly hosted by the British Columbia Yacht Brokers Association (BCYBA), the show is an opportunity for people to tour the boats of their dreams, explore the latest yachts – both new and used – and delight in many fascinating demonstrations at beautiful Port Sidney Marina.
