Fantastic news this week as the newest member of the Corsair fleet – the Corsair 760 has been nominated for Multihull of the Year 2018!
The nomination comes in the “Under 40-foot” category. So it’s a credit to the Corsair Production and Design team, as well as designer Perus Yacht Design that this 24-footer can compete with multihulls up to 40-feet. The Corsair 760 joins a boat from sister brand Seawind Catamarans, the Seawind 1600, in being nominated this year. Although we don’t know how the judging panel made their decisions, we are sure that the versatility of this boat contributed to the nomination. The Corsair 760 is perhaps the most multi-talented Corsair yet. She is incredibly easy to sail in “cruising mode”, and carries family-friendly features including a stowable galley sink and stove and improved sleeping space with new soft lighting. In racing guise this boat is a real thrill – capable of stunning speeds, with additional stability provided by new high-volume floats, while at the same time being entirely manageable from the cockpit.
The awards are organised by Multihulls World Magazine, and the organisers of the International Multihull Boat Show at La Grande Motte. Winners will be announced at a ceremony at La Grande Motte next April. Join us there to see both of our nominated boats on display! The show runs from April 18th to 22nd, and don’t forget to contact us to book a viewing time.
